Job Title: CT Tech

Experience: Minimum 1 year - Unit accepts first-time travelers
License: GA or Compact license required
Certifications: BLS, ARRT R*, ARRT C


Must-Have:
- Adult Acute Care experience
- Knowledge of GE, PACS, Philips, Siemens, Toshiba
- Skills in preparation and/or administration of contrast media
- Ability to start peripheral IVs


Description:
Position will be primarily at a major imaging location.
Schedule is Monday through Friday.
There will be no weekend shifts or call requirements.
Floating may be required within facility and to other locations as needed.
Candidates will undergo a clinical review to determine fit.
If the clinical screening is passed and within guidelines, candidates will be sent to the manager for a final decision.
Requests for time off are limited to a maximum of 7 days.
If one major holiday falls within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work it.
If two major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work both.
If three major holidays fall within the assignment period, the traveler is expected to work two of the holidays.
Major holidays include Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving/Black Friday, Christmas Eve/Day, and New Year's Eve/Day.
Full compliance is required to start on time; if not compliant in time, the start may be pushed back 2 weeks due to the orientation schedule.
Local candidates may be accepted at the same rate.
The number of non-billable orientation hours is determined by contract length.
Previous charge experience is required.
Experience in community hospitals is preferred.
Travel experience is required.
Willingness to work with adult and geriatric patient populations is necessary.
