Emergency Department Technician (Swedish Mill Creek)

Description The Emergency Department Technician provides support to the Emergency Department (ED) Nursing and Licensed Independent Practitioner (LIP) staff by performing tasks that assist in the care and treatment of patients with illnesses and injuries. Serves as a liaison among members of the healthcare team, patients and families. Organizes, replaces, and maintains inventory and supply levels in the Department. Assists in other department‑related activities. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED Upon hire: Washington Medical Assistant Phlebotomist Certification Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Certification License or Upon hire: Washington Nursing Assistant Registered Upon hire: National Provider BLS – American Heart Association Preferred Qualifications Coursework/Training: Training in orthopedic technology 2 years of EMT and/or Emergency Department experience Compensation Pay Range: $30.91 - $45.90 per hour Additional compensation may include shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
