About the Organization For over 60 years, The Guidance Center has been a primary mental health support agency in Cumberland County, NJ, staffed by doctors, nurses, therapists, and support workers who diagnose and treat all types of mental illness. Key Responsibilities Provide essential administrative and clinical leadership for our Outpatient and Community Support Services (CSS) programs. Oversee daily operations and offer clinical supervision to staff delivering behavioral health and substance use services. Ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines, maintain HIPAA compliance, and monitor staff development with evidence‑based approaches such as Motivational Interviewing (MI) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Prepare and manage contracts and budgets, collaborate with departments, represent the agency at county and state meetings, and uphold high standards for client engagement and treatment planning. Qualifications Master’s Degree in Behavioral Health Sciences or related discipline. LCSW and CCS credentials required at hire or obtained shortly thereafter. Minimum two years of administration of behavioral health services and five years of clinical experience working with psychiatric and co‑occurring disorders. Strong leadership, problem‑solving, and communication skills. Valid New Jersey driver’s license with a clean five‑year driving record.
