Location: Fort Myers, FL

Schedule: Full-Time | 1st & 2nd Shift Opportunities Available

Position Summary

A leading aerospace manufacturing organization is seeking a Quality Inspector to support production operations by ensuring products meet stringent quality and regulatory requirements. This position is responsible for inspecting precision-machined components, conducting audits, verifying dimensional accuracy, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing process.

Essential Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of manufactured components using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, gauges, and vision inspection systems.

• Verify product conformity against engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements.

• Conduct First Article Inspections and in-process inspections in accordance with aerospace quality standards.

• Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to inspect complex parts and assemblies.

• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.

• Identify non-conforming material and collaborate with production and engineering teams to resolve quality issues.

• Support root cause investigations and corrective action activities.

• Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Ensure compliance with applicable quality management systems and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Quality Inspection or Quality Control within a manufacturing environment.

• Aerospace manufacturing experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.

• Experience using precision measurement tools, including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and CMM equipment.

• Working knowledge of AS9100, ISO 9001, and First Article Inspection requirements is preferred.

• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Myers, FL.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
