Technical Recruiter

Location: Remote or Hybrid (West Coast Hours) Schedule: Monday–Friday | 9:00 AM–6:00 PM PT Pay Rate: $50/hour Duration: Contract | Immediate Start Our client, an innovative leader at the intersection of animation and emerging technology, is seeking a Recruiting Researcher to support high-volume hiring across creative and technical teams. This is an exciting opportunity for a recruiter with deep experience in animation, gaming, VFX, or creative technology who understands the full production pipeline and thrives in a fast‑paced, evolving environment. This role will partner closely with recruiting leaders and hiring managers to identify, engage, and assess exceptional creative and technical talent supporting next‑generation animation initiatives. Responsibilities Partner with recruiting teams and hiring managers to understand hiring needs and develop strategic sourcing plans. Source, engage, and screen top talent for creative and technical roles across animation, gaming, VFX, and emerging technology. Recruit for positions including Technical Directors, CG Artists, Visual Development Artists, engineers, and other specialized creative roles. Conduct first‑round candidate interviews to evaluate technical qualifications, communication skills, and overall fit. Build robust talent pipelines through traditional sourcing methods as well as niche creative communities, including platforms such as Discord. Research emerging technologies and industry trends to identify specialized talent. Track candidate activity and maintain organized recruiting data throughout the hiring process. Collaborate cross‑functionally with recruiters, hiring managers, and recruiting coordinators to deliver an exceptional candidate experience. Present qualified candidates thoughtfully and confidently to hiring teams while providing market insights. Qualifications 3+ years of full‑cycle recruiting experience, with a strong emphasis on sourcing technical and creative talent. Previous recruiting experience within animation, gaming, VFX, creative technology, or adjacent industries is required. Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end animation production pipeline and the roles involved throughout the creative process. Experience recruiting for technical artists, creatives, engineers, technical directors, or similar specialized positions. Proven ability to source candidates through creative communities and nontraditional channels. Excellent candidate assessment, interviewing, and relationship‑building skills. Strong verbal and written communication with polished professional presence. Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment. Comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively across teams. Adaptable, proactive, coachable, and accountable. Bachelor's degree preferred. Preferred Experience Recruiting experience supporting AI, emerging technology, real‑time graphics, gaming, or animation innovation. Familiarity with creative production environments and evolving technology trends. Experience supporting high‑volume recruiting initiatives while maintaining a high‑quality candidate experience.
