• Assist with the collection of specimens and prepare samples for laboratory analysis as necessary.
• Keep meticulous documentation of all procedures, train new team members or students, and ensure compliance with laboratory quality standards.
• Maintain a tidy and safe work environment while adhering to regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a comparable allied health degree along with preparation for ASCP/AMT certification.

Certifications Required

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) obtained within one year of hire.
• Ongoing maintenance of certification throughout your employment.
