Your Role

• Conduct routine and complex clinical laboratory testsincluding chemistry, hematology, immunology, and morein adherence to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot inaccuracies, and ensure all laboratory instruments are properly maintained and calibrated.
• Assist with the collection of specimens and adequately prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Thoroughly document all test procedures, train new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining lab quality standards.
• Uphold a safe and clean work environment while following all regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree, along with ASCP or AMT certification preparation.

Certification

• ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) required within one year of hire.
• Ongoing certification must be maintained throughout employment.
