Description – What You Will Be Doing

• Conduct a range of both routine and sophisticated clinical laboratory analyses—covering key areas such as chemistry, hematology, immunology, and beyond—while adhering to established protocols.
• Assess the results for accuracy, troubleshoot any discrepancies, and perform necessary preventative maintenance and calibration on laboratory equipment.
• Participate in specimen collection, ensuring samples are accurately prepared for testing as required.
• Thoroughly document all procedures, assist with training new staff or students, and contribute to maintaining the highest lab quality standards.
• Keep your work environment clean and safe, while adhering to all regulatory and accreditation standards.

Education

• Possession of a Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or an equivalent allied health degree paired with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) to be obtained within the first year of employment.
• Maintain active certification throughout your time with us.
