Quality Inspector Details:

• Temporary position
• $ 15.50 / hour
• Full Time work available
• Various shifts available (Monday through Friday from 06:30am to 11:00pm)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive visual and functional inspections, sorting, and quality assurance on glass products.
• Operate and utilize inspection, measuring, and test equipment to verify product specifications and standards.
• Accurately complete data entry for inspection findings, production records, and other necessary documentation.
• Load and unload glass on conveyor systems and safely operate powered industrial equipment to move product racks.
• Efficiently pack and band finished glass products in preparation for shipment.
• Diligently read, understand, and follow all work instructions, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe personal workspace and contribute to overall work area cleanliness.
• Actively participate in and complete all required training classes and certifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support production goals and facility operations.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and work for extended periods, including shifts up to 12 hours.
• Capable of frequently lifting up to 45 pounds and occasionally lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent visual acuity and attention to detail are essential for precise product inspection.
• Ability to load and unload glass on conveyor systems.
• Ability to move racks of product using powered industrial equipment.

Work Environment:

• This is a manufacturing environment with continuous exposure to industrial noise.
• Work will involve proximity to and interaction with glass manufacturing equipment.
• The role requires prolonged periods of standing.

Required Qualifications & Conditions:

• Demonstrated ability to perform thorough quality inspections.
• Basic proficiency in data entry.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and execute detailed written and verbal work instructions.
• Strong commitment to workplace safety and maintaining a clean environment.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment background check.
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
