Quality Assurance Assistant

Overview Nationwide food manufacturer seeking a QA Assistant Supervisor to support the QA Supervisor in enforcing food safety standards, product quality, and regulatory compliance (FDA, USDA). This 2nd shift (M–F) role involves daily floor monitoring, overseeing quality testing, and helping train staff on proper food handling and HACCP protocols to maintain product safety. Responsibilities Support the QA Supervisor in enforcing food safety standards, product quality, and regulatory compliance. Conduct daily floor monitoring and oversee quality testing activities. Assist in training staff on proper food handling and HACCP protocols to maintain product safety. Qualifications High school diploma or 2 years equivalent experience in the food industry Knowledge of HACCP, SQF, GMPs, SSOPs, and applicable state/local health and food safety codes a plus Proficiency with standard computer software (Word, Excel, etc.) Strong attention to detail Experience with regulatory audits, line checks, and quality documentation preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
