Staff Development Coordinator SDC

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) and Staff Development Coordinator (SDC), you will play a vital role in supporting quality patient care while fostering a culture of learning and professional growth among our staff. You will help ensure that team members receive the education, training, and support necessary to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to our patients.

About the Role:

As a Staff Development Coordinator SDC, you will be responsible for designing and implementing training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of our staff. You will work closely with our clinical team to identify training needs, develop curricula, and facilitate workshops and sessions. Your goal will be to improve staff competencies, increase patient satisfaction, and enhance our overall quality of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement training programs to address staff development needs
• Collaborate with clinical staff to identify training priorities and develop curricula
• Facilitate workshops, sessions, and other educational activities
• Develop and maintain training materials, including presentations, handouts, and other resources
• Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvement
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and staff participation
• Assist in the development of policies and procedures related to staff development and training
• Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in staff development and training

Requirements:

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in a related field

• Experience in staff development, training, or a related field

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
