LIHTC Credit Analyst

Summary: Full-Time

Availability: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm - Springfield

Essential Job Functions

• Demonstrate Legacy Bank and Trust corporate values in all situations and interactions.
• Underwrite and prepare LIHTC loan proposals for loan committee discussion.
• Review and produce renewal and modifications to existing credits.
• Periodically assist with loan reviews / annual cash flows of borrowers.
• Assist with the updating and annual maintenance of loan files to ensure the most current financial information has been obtained.
• Help coordinate various credit functions for the bank such as preparation for loan committee and upcoming regulatory exams.
• All tax credit underwriting related action including compliance support.
• Regularly attend and present information as necessary at all loan meetings as requirement by management.
• Complete all required training as well as ABA assigned courses.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook experience

Education and Experience

• Equivalent of a high school diploma, college degree preferred.
• Tax Return Analysis Experience
• Prior experience as a credit analyst is preferred.

Physical Requirements

• Seeing : Must be able to see well enough to see computer screen and read documents (75-100% of work time spent on activity ).

• Hearing : Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with customers, vendors, and employees (75-100% of work time spent on activity ).

• Sitting : Must be able to sit for long periods of time (50-74% of work time spent on activity ).

• Standing/Walking : Must be able to move about office (25-49% of work time spent on activity ).

• Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling : Must be able to stoop or kneel to pick up paper products or materials (0-24% of work time spent on activity ).

• Lifting/Pulling/Pushing : Must be able to lift up to 10 pounds (0-24% of work time spent on activity ).

• Grasping/Feeling : Must be able to write, type and use technical equipment (75-100% of work time spent on activity ).
