The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for managing the scheduling and coordination of inbound and outbound freight across all company locations. This role serves as a primary point of contact between carriers, the warehouse team, and internal stakeholders, ensuring smooth and timely movement of goods.
Responsibilities
- Schedule appointments for all locations via phone and email
- Follow up with carriers on missed appointments and driver ETAs
- Weekly schedule clean-up
- Enter receipts into the ERP system
- Maintain up-to-date carrier contacts
- Send pre-receiving report to the warehouse for the following day
- Request truckload quotes and coordinate pickups for POs and transfers
- Coordinate LTL PO pickups with the shipping team
Qualifications
Education & Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1 year of customer service or related experience
- 1 year of experience in the distribution industry (preferred)
- 1 year of experience with Epicor ERP system (preferred)

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
