Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Medical Surgical & Progressive Care Unit Duration: Travel Position Shift: Variable Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2 years of PCU mixed with Medical Surgical/Tele License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: - 2 years of PCU mixed with Medical Surgical/Tele experience - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications - Epic EMR experience - Degree accreditation or 5 years of experience Description: Seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to work in a Medical Surgical and Progressive Care Unit. The position involves floating to other units, including Medical Surgical, Progressive Care Unit, and Emergency Department Hold. The home base will be in a Medical Surgical Telemetry Floor with a 36-bed unit. The nurse to patient ratio is 5 to 6 patients per RN. Travelers will float first and may move to other campuses as needed. Cultural fit is essential, and travelers are expected to integrate with the core staff. All requests for time off must be included upon submission. Demographic information is required for confirmation, including address, email, date of birth, Social Security number, and RN license number. Documentation must be completed by the specified deadline; no exceptions will be made. Travelers are welcomed into the units and should be prepared to function as core staff members.
