Job Title: Surgical Progressive Care Unit RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 3W Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: 2 years of PCU experience required License: Current RN license Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS required Must-Have: Degree accreditation must be on profile or 5 years of acute care experience Description: Seeking a qualified RN for a Surgical Progressive Care Unit. Candidates must have 2 years of experience in a PCU setting. Travel experience is preferred. Ratios in the unit are 4 to 5 patients per nurse. Familiarity with EMR systems, specifically Epic, is required. Preferred scrub colors are Galaxy Blue or White. Floating to other units may be required. All requests for time off must be submitted prior to application. Demographic information must be completely filled out in the profile for consideration. Cultural fit is crucial, as travelers are expected to function as core staff. All documents must be submitted by the specified deadline prior to starting the position.
