Duration: 13 weeks (Extendable)

Pay Range: $30/hr - $34/hr

Facility: Sutter Health Alta Bates Summit Medical Center Herrick

Location: 2001 Dwight Way Berkeley, CA 94704

Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (08:00 - 16:30), Day 5x8-Hour (09:30 - 18:00) Technician candidates are only expected to work 8-hour DAY shifts Monday to Friday (no weekends) with variable start times ranging from 07:00am to 09:30am. Hours of pharmacy operation are 07:00 to 18:00.

Job Details

Seeking an experienced pharmacy technician licensed by the California Board of Pharmacy to provide timely and accurate pharmaceutical care.

Skills

Prepares, compounds, packages, labels, and dispenses medication, nutritional products, IV admixture and solutions (e.g., chemotherapy, biotherapy, etc.), and Durable Medical Equipment (DME) according to Sutter Health policies, state/federal regulations, and The Joint Commission standards. Assists with medicine and supplies inventory management and control, including maintaining adequate stock levels, checking accuracy of pricing, and completing required regulatory documentation. Adheres to all standards, procedures, cleaning protocols, and infection control policies to maintain a safe and sterile medication area, clean rooms, and laminar flow hoods. Compensation: $30.00 - $34.00 per hour Minority and Women Owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) certified by the State of New Jersey and Minority Business Enterprise (MBE) certified from National Minority Supplier Development Council.
