Quality Technician

Aegis is partnered with a long-standing precision manufacturer that has been in business for over 100 years and serves industries including aerospace, medical, electronics, food processing, and hydraulics. This company manufactures custom precision components including gaskets, seals, washers, insulators, and other engineered products while maintaining AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality standards. They are continuing to grow and are looking to add another Quality Specialist to their team.Responsibilities:Perform first article, in-process, and final inspections to engineering drawings and specificationsSupport and maintain AS9100D and ISO 9001 quality systemsPrepare quality documentation including AS9102 FAIRs, PPAP packages, inspection records, and certificationsManage nonconformance reports and corrective actionsSupport internal and external quality auditsPartner closely with manufacturing teams to drive continuous improvement initiativesUtilize quality tools including micrometers, calipers, and gaugesRequirements:5+ years of quality experience (or 3+ years within aerospace manufacturing)Experience performing first article, in-process, and final inspectionsKnowledge of AS9100D and/or ISO 9001 quality systemsExperience utilizing standard inspection equipmentStrong documentation and problem-solving skillsPreferred:Aerospace manufacturing experienceCMM operating or programming experienceRoot cause and corrective action experienceInternal and external audit experienceThis is a great opportunity to join a stable organization where you'll have significant ownership and visibility across the entire quality system while supporting two manufacturing facilities.
