AP/AR Specialist

Position Title: AP/AR Specialist Wage: $20.00 per hour QPS Employment Group has a great AP/AR Specialist position available at a company in Rockford, IL. This is a temporary position. AP/AR Specialist Responsibilities Post and apply daily payments by matching bank activity and remittance to invoices. Resolve short payments, unapplied cash, debit memos, and other payment exceptions. Process credit memos and manual billings in a highly accurate and detail oriented manner. Investigate account issues and coordinate with internal teams on resolution and escalations. Reconcile AR balances, support month-end close, and use aging/performance data to prioritize risk accounts. Monitor customer accounts and make decisions regarding credit risks. Perform other related duties as assigned. AP/AR Specialist Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent. Minimum 2 years of accounts payable experience. Familiarity with foreign currencies and ability to convert currencies. Ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills. Ability to work with minimal supervision. Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills. Effective problem-solving skills.
