Caregiver Position at Executive Home Care of Silicon Valley - South Bay
As a Caregiver at Executive Home Care of Silicon Valley - South Bay, you will play a pivotal role in providing essential personal care and assistance to our clients in the comfort of their homes. Responsibilities include:
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Provide support with bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and ambulation
- Medication reminders
- Provide reminders for medication according to prescribed schedules
- Support clients in managing their medication routines
- Meal preparation and nutrition
- Assist with meal planning and preparation, adhering to dietary requirements
- Monitor and encourage proper nutrition and hydration
- Companionship and social interaction
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and companionship
- Accompany clients to appointments and social activities
- Health monitoring
- Observe and report changes in clients' health status to the care team
- Document care provided and any notable observations
Qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience as a caregiver or similar role preferred
- Certification in CPR and First Aid preferred
- Compassionate and empathetic attitude
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively within a team
Compensation: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
