Program MonitorWe are looking for a Program Monitor to join our inpatient treatment team in St. Charles. Provides medication administration to clients under the direction of the nursing staff. Provides supportive and functional care to clients with routine daily care in accordance with established care procedures as directed by nursing leadership. Works as a member of and collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team with a focus on maintaining the client as the director of their care. Scheduled hours for this position are full time - Friday, Saturday, Sunday & Monday (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM).Job ResponsibilitiesMedication management, distribution, and documentationCompleting client admissions and discharges by following belonging search procedures, administering urine drug screens, and documenting client information into electronic medical records.Frequently checking in with clients to ensure they are safe and following program guidelinesReporting client behavioral changes and concerns to the clinical teamQualifications, Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesPreferred, a high school diploma or equivalentPreferred, Level 1 Medication Certified with MO Dept of Health and Senior ServicesComputer skills sufficient to access email, internet, and to document in client's medical recordAbility to respond quickly in emergency situationsGood customer service skillsCPR certification and first aid trainingPrior experience with direct care preferred-basic computer skillsPhysical Requirements and Working ConditionsMobility & Stamina: Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods throughout the shift.Lifting & Carrying: Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 25–50 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 75 pounds with assistance (e.g., moving patients, equipment, or supplies).Manual Dexterity: Requires fine motor skills to accurately prepare and administer medications.Vision & Hearing: Must have sufficient vision (corrected or uncorrected) and hearing to observe and assess patient conditions, read labels, and follow written instructions.Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to interact with patients, families, and staff.Other Physical Demands: Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and kneeling when assisting residents.Working ConditionsEnvironment: Work performed primarily in a healthcare/long-term care facility with exposure to patients/residents.Exposure: Potential contact with bloodborne pathogens, infectious diseases, hazardous chemicals (medications, cleaning supplies), and bodily fluids.Pace & Stress: Fast-paced, with multiple interruptions and urgent medication administration timelines.
