Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Skills & Knowledge, Experience & EducationCurrent Group Exercise certification with one or more of the following:American Council on Exercise (ACE)Aerobics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA)American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)Specialty specific (i.e., Yoga, Pilates, Les Mills, etc.) certification, as required for format taughtCurrent CPR/AED certificationMinimum two (2) years of group exercise or fitness-related teaching experienceProfessional, friendly manner and excellent customer service abilitiesSales and Marketing -- Knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, and sales techniques.Problem Anticipation/ Deductive Reasoning -- Ability to tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong and then apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
