Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Position Overview Pay Range: $35.92 - $53.88 (actual pay will be based on factors such as experience, skills, training, certifications, and education). Role: Each day, performs technical procedures—as directed by a physician—utilizing radio nuclides to produce quality diagnostic and therapeutic imaging. Department: Radiology Core Function: Imaging Schedule: Day Shift / Full‑time Facility: St. John’s Hospital Location: Springfield, IL Sign‑On Bonus: Up to $20,000 Weekly Hours: 40 Responsibilities Conduct technical procedures involving radio nuclides under physician instruction. Ensure production of high‑quality diagnostic and therapeutic images. Qualifications Graduate of an approved Nuclear Medicine Technology program or certificate program. At least 1 year of documented healthcare experience in an accredited Nuclear Medicine Program. Illinois accreditation by IEMA Division of Nuclear Safety required. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. American Registry Radiologic Technologists (ARRT (N)) certification required within 1 year; NR TC certification also required.
