Job Title

The back of the house is the kitchen. You will cook, assemble, and keep the line moving so that every order comes out fast, hot, and right. It's a real kitchen: fast, warm, physical, and managed by a team that relies on each other. If you like working with your hands, moving with purpose, and getting a flood of clean orders done, this is your place.

It's hot, fast, and physical. You'll be on your feet all shift in a busy kitchen, moving all the time. You'll lift and carry up to 50 pounds and stretch on your feet for long stretches. This is real work.

Food safety and speed matter at the same time. When orders pile up, you keep the pace and the standard. Clean hands, proper temperatures, proper process, always. Being busy is never an excuse to cut corners.

It's a team effort. The phrase only works when everyone plays their part. You'll rely on your teammates, and they'll rely on you.

Availability on Saturdays is required. You won't work every Saturday, but you have to be available for them. We're closed every Sunday, always.

You need a reliable way to get to work. If you do opening shifts before dawn or closing shifts after dark, you need transportation that really works for those hours.

We have a standard. Punctual, in uniform, and focused on food safety and cleanliness, every shift. The same standard for everyone.

We're looking for people who want to stay for a while. Getting better in the kitchen, earning raises, and earning trust to take on more takes months, not weeks. If you're looking for something short-term, this isn't ideal.

What You'll Do

• Prepare, cook, and assemble food to Chick-fil-A's standard, fast and precise every hour of the rush.
• Learn the stations: fries, breading, grills, assembly, and prep. Get strong in each one.
• Maintain food safety and cleanliness: temperatures, labeling, and cleaning on the go, in all shifts.
• Stock and keep the kitchen tidy, and handle opening or closing duties as assigned.
• Work safely around the team and notify a leader of any maintenance issues.
• Work with your team during the adrenaline rush. Give your part, stay positive, and join where needed.

Who Fits In This Role

You're reliable, you arrive on time, and you work fast without becoming sloppy. You don't need kitchen experience. You need to be a coach, willing to learn the roles, and consistent when it gets busy. If you've worked in a team, played a sport, or done physical work before, that shows here.

Attitude still matters here. The kitchen is part of the same team that serves guests, so we hire for the same character and warmth we look for first. The people who do best are reliable, trainable, and good teammates.

Compensation and Schedule

Salary: $11.00$14.50 per hour, based on experience and availability, with raises as you grow.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time. Availability on Saturdays required. Closed Sundays. Opening, midday, afternoon, and closing.
