The reception is where guests meet Chick-fil-A. You take orders, make them right, and serve people at the counter, in the drive-thru, and in the dining room. Everything moves fast, its busy, and all the work boils down to making the person in front of you feel cared for. If you like people and you like moving around, youll like this.

This is direct guest service, all shift. You talk to people, smile, and serve without pause despite the rush. If you prefer not to be around people all day, the kitchen might not be the place for you.

Its fast-paced and physical. Youre on your feet all shift, moving around in a noisy and busy restaurant. Some days fly by. None are slow.

Availability on Saturdays is required. You wont work every Saturday, but you have to be available. Were closed every Sunday.

A reliable way to get to work is needed. If you do early morning or late night shifts, you need transportation that works for those hours.

We have a standard. On time, in uniform, phone put away, every shift. Its the same standard for everyone, and its part of why people like working here.

Were looking for people who want to stay for a while. Getting better at this job, getting raises, and earning the trust to take on more takes months, not weeks. If youre looking for something short-term, this isnt ideal.

What youll do

• Care for guests with genuine warmth. A sincere smile, eye contact, and a please you really mean.
• Take orders and make them right, fast, at the counter and in the drive-thru.
• Keep the dining room, drink station, and your area clean and stocked.
• Work with your team during the adrenaline rush. Pitch in, stay positive, and sun yourself where needed.
• Meet the standards: food safety, cleanliness, dress code, and on time every shift.

Who fits this role

Youre honest, youre on time, and you stay friendly even when its busy. No experience needed. You do need to like serving people and be willing to learn. If youve played a sport, worked on a team, helped in a family business, or cared for people before, it shows here.

People who do best in this role are warm, reliable, and easy to train. If youre like that, youll fit right in.

Compensation and schedule

Salary: $10.00$13.50 per hour, based on experience and availability, with raises as you grow.

Schedule: Full-time and part-time. Availability on Saturdays required. Closed every Sunday. Opening, midday, afternoon, and closing.
