Their main duties include loading raw materials, checking product quality with measuring tools, making minor equipment adjustments, and following strict safety rules to keep production running efficiently.Key ResponsibilitiesSetup and Operation: Prepare, start, and run machines according to technical blueprints or work orders.Material Handling: Load raw materials, parts, or components into equipment safely and continuously.Quality Control: Inspect finished items using tools like calipers, gauges, or micrometers to verify proper size and shape.Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Clean and lubricate machinery, fix minor issues, and report major faults to repair technicians.Record Keeping: Log production output, material use, and equipment performance numbers into paper or digital systems.Safety Compliance: Wear safety gear and follow health rules (OSHA standards) at all times.Skills and QualificationsEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalent.Experience: 1 to 3 years working with production or warehouse machinery is often preferred.Technical Skills: Ability to read blueprints, manuals, and technical diagrams.Math Skills: Basic arithmetic to measure, calculate rates, and use percentages.Physical Strength: Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
