Job Summary:

Assist healthcare providers by performing clinical, administrative, and support tasks to ensure smooth patient care and office operations within a medical practice.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Perform EKGs, lab tests, PFTs, and audiometry as ordered by physicians.
  
  
• 
  Assist with patient admissions, taking vital signs, medical history, medication, and allergy information.
  
  
• 
  Document patient treatments, telephone contacts, and lab results accurately in the medical records.
  
  
• 
  Adhere to laboratory procedures and regulations, including CLIA standards and universal precautions.
  
  
• 
  Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and medical areas, restocking supplies as needed.
  
  
• 
  Register patients, update insurance information, schedule appointments, and manage patient records.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold certification as a Medical Assistant or have two years of relevant work experience.
  
  
• 
  Possess a high school diploma or GED and BLS certification.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate excellent communication skills, professionalism, and interpersonal abilities.
  
  
• 
  Be experienced with computer data entry and familiar with medical office operations.
  
  
• 
  Capable of handling diversified responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
