Senior Tax Analyst (Hybrid)

This role is with a prominent Long Island client and involves a mix of tax compliance, tax provision (ASC740), planning, workpaper documentation, and potential tax authority audits. The Tax Senior will also perform technical tax research at both Federal and State levels.
Responsibilities
- Perform tax research
- Prepare and review tax returns
- Identify opportunities to minimize the effective tax rate
- Oversee non-income tax compliance
- Prepare for and lead tax audits
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting or Tax
- 4+ years of professional tax experience
- Significant experience with large-scale 1120 C corporation tax
- Experience with ASC740 is a plus
- Public accounting background preferred
- CPA license preferred
- Strong communication and analytical skills
