Tool Room Machinist Tool Room Machinist Pay: Up to $23-40/hour (Based on Experience) Schedule: 6:00 AM 4:30 PM | Monday Thursday Direct Hire Job Description Are you an experienced machinist looking to take your career to the next level? We're seeking a skilled Tool Room Machinist to join our team! In this direct hire opportunity, you'll play a key role in building, repairing, and maintaining tooling, fixtures, forming dies, and production equipment that keep manufacturing running efficiently. You'll set up and operate CNC Vertical Mills and machining centers using Mastercam, work from blueprints, and help ensure quality production while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Required Skills: 35 years of Tool Room Machinist experience Experience setting up and operating CNC Vertical Mills and machining centers Proficient with Mastercam Strong knowledge of manual machining equipment Ability to read and interpret blueprints Experience building and repairing tooling, fixtures, forming, and sizing dies Knowledge of alloy and tool steels, including heat treat capabilities Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills Ability to maintain tooling and support production operations Nice to Have Skills: Technical school education in Machining or a related field Forklift experience or certification Experience ordering tooling and materials Basic computer and data entry skills Strong communication and teamwork skills Preferred Education & Experience: Technical school education in Machining or a related field preferred 35 years of Tool Room Machinist experience Experience with CNC machining, Mastercam, tooling fabrication, and die maintenance Other Requirements: Ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable with a strong work ethic Ability to lift, stand, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity where your machining expertise makes a direct impact on production, we'd love to hear from you.
