Key Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional states, including gathering their history, current concerns, and goals. Evaluate the unique needs of clients to develop individualized treatment plans that are evidence-based and tailored to their specific situations. Provide therapeutic services, including individual therapy for clients across the lifespan and couple’s therapy aimed at resolving conflicts and enhancing communication. Regularly review and adapt treatment plans based on client progress and feedback, ensuring flexibility and responsiveness to their evolving needs. Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, in compliance with healthcare regulations and ethical standards. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, participating in interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care. Be a source of crisis intervention for clients in distress, offering immediate support and guidance during emergencies. Engage in ongoing professional development to remain knowledgeable about the latest practices and advancements in marriage and family therapy. Participate in workshops and training sessions that enhance your skills and offer opportunities for growth. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Balance and Bliss Counseling, you will work with a diverse client base that includes children, adolescents, adults, and couples. Each client presents unique challenges, allowing you to leverage a wide range of therapeutic modalities and interventions. Your focus will be on developing personalized therapy experiences that cater to the distinct needs and backgrounds of your clients. Qualifications A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related discipline is required. Active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is mandatory. Proven experience in providing individual and couples therapy, demonstrating effective therapeutic techniques and success in client outcomes. Strong skills in conducting client assessments, completing progress notes, and developing treatment plans that are both accurate and timely. Excellent communication and writing skills, alongside proficiency in utilizing electronic health record systems for efficient documentation. Preferred Experience Experience working with diverse populations, including those experiencing various mental health issues. Familiarity with teletherapy tools and virtual therapy practices that enhance client engagement and care. Experience integrating evidence-based practices into therapeutic approaches. Compensation and Benefits Compensation for this role ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
