Frontend / UX Engineers

Salary: $68,076 - 141,826 per year Requirements:

• We require a bachelors degree.
• We need at least 3 years of experience designing digital user interfaces or websites.
• You must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Experience with cloud-based, IoT-enabled, or regulated federal web systems is preferred.
• Proficiency with modern frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue, along with UI component libraries, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accessibility standards, including Section 508, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility is preferred.
• Experience with user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis in mission-critical environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with DoD cybersecurity, privacy, and RMF requirements for user interfaces is preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills, including the ability to create UI specifications and training materials, is preferred.
• Experience supporting field deployment, troubleshooting, and operational support for distributed web applications is preferred.

• We design, build, and maintain responsive, accessible, and intuitive web interfaces for inventory, exposure tracking, and RBAC workflows.
• We partner with product owners, backend/API engineers, and stakeholders to turn requirements into effective UI/UX solutions.
• We conduct user research, usability testing, and workflow analysis to guide interface design and ongoing improvements.
• We ensure our interfaces comply with DoD accessibility, cybersecurity, and privacy standards.
• We use modern frontend frameworks and technologies to deliver high-performing, scalable, and maintainable applications.
• We create and maintain UI documentation, style guides, and component libraries.
• We support user acceptance testing, deployment, and day-to-day operations of frontend solutions.
• We optimize interfaces for multiple devices and operational settings, including disconnected environments.
• We take part in code reviews, security reviews, and compliance audits as needed.
• We provide technical support and training to end users and stakeholders when required.
