CFS is partnering with an established $30M digital media organization to identify a strategic and hands-on Controller to lead accounting operations and support HR administration. This is an exciting opportunity for an accounting leader looking to make a significant impact within a growing company while partnering closely with executive leadership. The position offers a hybrid schedule with 4 days onsite in Waltham and a salary range of $150,000-$160,000 . Controller Responsibilities Lead all day-to-day accounting and finance operations Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports Manage cash flow, banking relationships, and internal controls Coordinate annual audits and tax compliance activities Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions Support retirement plan administration and related compliance requirements Partner with leadership on operational and strategic initiatives Oversee HR administration, including benefits coordination, employee onboarding, and policy management Ensure compliance with accounting standards and employment regulations Controller Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including leadership responsibilities Experience overseeing full-cycle accounting within a small to midsized organization Knowledge of HR administration, benefits, and retirement plans Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Advanced Excel and accounting systems experience Why This Controller Opportunity?
