If this sounds like what you are looking for, we'd love to hear from you!JOB SUMMARYThe Food Service Parent should have a positive attitude and willingness to assist campers during mealtimes to ensure the food service areas are kept clean and welcoming to staff and campers. Responsible for providing exceptional food service to our campers, guests, and staff. This position requires the employee to prepare ingredients, wash dishes, attend to the dining area during mealtimes, and/or serve food to campers and staff.* Kitchen - Main food service area for campers' breakfast, lunch and dinner throughout the week* Burger Grill - Secondary food service area service burgers and hot dogs for lunch and dinner throughout the week* The Canteen - Quick service space at the central hub of campus (pizza, ice cream, etc.)* The Grind - Coffee serviceWHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU? * Summer Season: 3 Meals Daily and Employee Housing Available.* Access to our world-class facilities. You will work and play in the same innovative environments as professional and Olympic athletes.* Discounts on food, retail and gear.* Career Development and growth opportunities here and at our facilities across the globe.* A connection with people who share the same passions and embrace each other’s unique and individual styles.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Operate in a team environment* Maintain health code standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and storage.* Keeps the food service area organized and clean, both the front and back of house.* Assistance with basic prep* Restock all food lines, paper products and grab and go areas* Ensure menu items are served in a safe and healthy manner* Assist young campers during their food and beverage experience* Provide campers and guests that have food allergies with the utmost service* Complete opening and closing tasks for front and back of house* Cleaning the serving areas, kitchen, and cleaning dishes and taking out the garbage* Oversee the designated dining area by ensuring tables, floors, and serving areas are well maintained* Report any and all safety and maintenance concerns to supervisor* Other duties as assigned.KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES * Exhibits initiative, responsibility, and accountability* Strong attention to detail* Successful working in an independent and team environment* Successful working in an independent and team environment* Be punctual and prepared to greet and serve guests in a cordial, professional manner with a smile and positive attitude* Comfortability in interacting with kids aged 7-17QUALIFICATIONS*Required Qualifications* * Must be 18 years of age or older for on-site housing* Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprintingPRE-REQUISITES**Must have or be able to obtain the following prior to starting work:***Woodward will supply information to assist you in obtaining these if needed.* * Mandated Reporter Training Certificate* Safesport Training CertificatePHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS * Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.* Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.* Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.* Primary on-site work location: Woodward, PAPREFERRED COMMITMENT * Preferred Commitment: 1 Week**You make us Woodward.** We are a welcoming community that celebrates individual stories, backgrounds, experiences, and identities where we all have "different" in common.
