With over $1.3B in assets under management, FCT continues to grow through strong client partnerships and a commitment to service excellence.About the RoleWe are seeking a full-time Investment Associate to support portfolio management, trading, and investment research across client accounts. This role is critical in delivering sound investment strategies and maintaining high standards of accuracy, compliance, and client service.Location: Looking for candidates living in Iowa, preferably in the following cities: Cedar Rapids, Des Moines, Dubuque, Iowa City, or the Quad Cities.Salary Range: $60,000-$75,000What You’ll Be DoingSupport portfolio management through account reviews, performance analysis, and recommendations.Execute trades, including funds, equities, bonds, block trades, and portfolio rebalancing.Conduct investment research and due diligence using tools such as Morningstar Direct.Monitor market trends and assist in developing economic updates and commentary.Prepare client materials, reports, and presentations for meetings and board discussions.Support compliance through portfolio monitoring and reporting and ensure adherence to policies and regulations.Collaborate with internal teams and external partners (e.G., brokers).Who You AreBachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, or Finance or equivalent years of experience.Prior experience in investment management, portfolio administration, or trading (preferred)Strong analytical skills with experience using Excel for data analysisHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and executionInterest in financial markets, investments, and economic trendsAbility to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate insights clearlyOwnership mindset with confidence in research and recommendationsExperience with portfolio management tools and research platforms a plus (e.G., Morningstar Direct).*Credit and criminal history verification will be required of all applicants.FCT is an equal opportunity employer.
