JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing support to end-users on a variety of issues. This position also identifies, researches, and resolves self-service and user-retrieved information such as passwords, and logging in features. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Respond to calls, record and track all incidents and requests through ticketing system. Troubleshoot, elevate and follow-up with end-users regarding IT support matters. 2. Investigate, diagnose, and resolve IT issues efficiently to minimize downtime and disruption. Escalate issues to higher-level support when necessary. 3. Support computer users; both hardware and software needs and supported applications 4. Provide end-user training with IT systems and applications. 5. Assist in creating and maintaining network infrastructure documents and IT procedures. 6. Install and deploy workstations, tablets, iPads, iPhones and other IT technology to users and support overall IT initiatives. 7. Maintain complete and accurate logs and documentation of responsibilities and work completed. 8. Performs other IT related duties as directed and assigned by IT Supervisor/Manager/Director. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred. Experience: Minimum one (1) year in customer service, information technology support, or a related field. Experience required with end-user hardware, software and application support. Demonstrated experience delivering high-touch IT support to C-level executives, with expertise in Windows and Mac platforms, enterprise wireless connectivity, and conference room/AV technologies, is preferred. Certification or Licenses IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) preferred. Skills and Competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users. (oral and written). Familiarity with IT service management (ITSM) tools and ticketing systems. Strong interpersonal skills and excellent phone etiquette. Strong troubleshooting skills. Demonstrates attention to detail.
