Senior Accounting Associate

A prestigious and highly successful private investment organization is seeking a Senior Accounting Associate to join its growing accounting team. This position offers broad exposure across accounting, investments, financial operations, and special projects within a sophisticated and collaborative environment.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, intellectually curious, and enjoys taking ownership of processes while driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities :

• Manage complex accounting and bookkeeping activities across multiple entities
• Execute monthly close responsibilities, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and financial reporting support
• Support cash management activities and maintain schedules utilized for financial and tax reporting
• Lead key accounting projects and recurring financial processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• At least 6 years of progressive accounting experience in a business environment that requires strong attention to detail.
• Strong command of month-end close procedures, including journal entries, general ledger review, and financial statement support.
• Demonstrated experience performing account reconciliations and bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.
• Solid understanding of core accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in investment, private equity, or multi-entity environments is a plus.
