Senior Project Manager

Location: United States Our client is a leading general contractor with an outstanding reputation for delivering complex commercial and industrial construction projects across the United States. Due to continued growth and a strong project pipeline, they are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of large-scale projects while managing high-performing project teams. The Role As the Senior Project Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the administrative, commercial, and technical management of major construction projects from pre-construction through to completion. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead all aspects of project delivery from award through closeout. Manage contract administration, procurement, change orders, RFIs, submittals, scheduling, and project documentation. Maintain a thorough understanding of project contracts and contractual obligations. Secure all required permits and verify subcontractor insurance and compliance requirements. Plan, schedule, and chair project coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams. Lead, mentor, and develop project management staff and field teams. Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior leadership. Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep projects on track. Oversee project financial performance, budgets, forecasting, and cost control. Manage project closeout activities and ensure successful handover. Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, architects, engineers, consultants, and subcontractors. Support business development efforts by contributing to proposals, presentations, and client meetings where required. What We're Looking For Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent industry experience). 5-9+ years of experience managing commercial and industrial construction projects for a general contractor. Proven experience delivering projects from pre-construction through completion. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, scheduling, procurement, and commercial management. Excellent leadership skills with previous experience managing and developing project teams. Strong communication and relationship-building skills with clients, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. A proactive, solutions-focused approach with a strong commitment to delivering successful project outcomes. LEED accreditation or additional industry certifications would be considered an advantage but are not essential.
