Key Responsibilities Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Reviews and documents daily in the communication log as appropriate. Reviews new orders and MAR as directed. Supervises and reviews the transcription process, medication and equipment ordering, pharmacy cycle fill. Performs communication with outside agencies and medical providers. Reviews alert charting as directed. Reviews incident reports as needed and completes investigations. Reviews cleanliness and organization of medication room. Reviews, supervises and assists with resident care as needed. Performs medication pass as needed. Qualifications & Skills Ability to utilize and apply basic management skills. Maintains adequate attendance record, notifies supervisor if late or unable to work in accordance with personnel policies. Requires minimal supervision, is a self-starter and flexible. Organizes and utilizes time appropriately, sets priorities and accomplishes assigned tasks. Displays mature behavior in attitude, speech and action. Keeps resident information confidential, respects resident’s rights, respects privacy and the right to self-determination by the residents. Works cooperatively with supervisors and co-workers.
