Join Kearfott and become part of a company that is recognized for technical expertise and respected world-wide as a 'full service' provider.Position DescriptionThis position is responsible for the development of cost estimates, assistance in negotiations and audits, and calculating monthly cost accruals/invoicing on various types of contracts.Essential FunctionsSupports the quoting activity of the Contracts, Sales & Engineering Groups with cost estimatesPulls data from multiple computer systems to produce coherent and supportable estimates of present and future costsComplies with government regulations FAR and DFAR as well as company policiesUnderstands the difference between standard and actual cost accounting principlesHas a business acumen, ability to analyze costing results and reasonablenessCritical CompetenciesStrong analytical experience for gross margin analysisAttention to details and flexible outlookGood organizational, data collection and multi-tasking skillsTenacious, inquisitive, driven, and a sense of urgencyAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills and ERP Software experienceEducation & ExperienceBachelors' Degree in Accounting or Finance1+ years of experience in finance or accounting role, preferredProficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office productsMust be a US CitizenThis position is 100% onsite at our Pine Brook, NJ facility.
