Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care for Med/Surg patients, including comprehensive assessments, monitoring, and timely documentation.
- Administer medications and therapies per protocol; monitor for adverse reactions and effectiveness.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update care plans; communicate changes clearly.
- Provide patient- and family-centered education; support discharge planning and transitional care.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records; uphold patient confidentiality and privacy.
- Respond rapidly to clinical changes; participate in emergency response and code situations as needed.

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse license (Maine or eligibility for Maine licensure)
- Med/Surg nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work the night shift in a hospital Med/Surg setting
- Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
- Commitment to patient-family centered care and confidentiality
