About the Role
We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Counter Representative to join our team in the retail and warehouse sector. In this role, you will contribute to providing exceptional customer service, managing sales transactions, and supporting warehouse operations.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and contractors in a professional and friendly manner.
- Assist customers in identifying products and solutions that meet their needs.
- Process orders, quotes, returns, and sales transactions accurately.
- Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for pickup or delivery.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Receive incoming inventory and verify shipments for accuracy.
- Stock shelves and maintain organized warehouse storage areas.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
Requirements
- 6 months to 1 year of basic computer experience.
- Great customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn internal systems.
Preferred Qualifications (if any)
- Counter experience in wholesale distribution.
- Local market knowledge.
- Previous customer service, counter sales, retail, plumbing supply, HVAC supply, electrical supply, construction, or warehouse experience.
- Forklift experience is a plus, but training may be provided.
