Production Associate
Join our family-owned cheese production team in Mosinee, WI where quality, teamwork, and pride in craftsmanship come first. We're looking for a self-motivated, dependable individual who's eager to learn, ready to work, and excited to have a voice in troubleshooting and process improvements. Wage: $20.50/hour
Shift: 1st / 2nd (Rotating)
Hours: 8:00am - 4:00pm or 2:00pm - 10:00pm
Production Associate Responsibilities:
- Monitor and control production machinery
- Monitor and use "Clean in Place" procedures on product machinery and tools
- Scoop and shovel cheese curds in large bins
- Take samples of product for lab testing
- Maintain appropriate production records
- Fill out proper documentation in accordance to customer specification and government agencies
- Aid other employees to maintain a safe process and quality product
- Follow safety procedures
- Maintain clean work environment
- Operate within HACCP guidelines to ensure safe, quality product
- Operate and set up bagging machine to bag and seal blocks of cheese
Requirements for Production Associate:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience of 1-2 years in a manufacturing position
- Ability to stand the entire shift 8-10 hours a day
- Exposure to toxic, caustic chemicals (anhydrous ammonia), acid wash
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs rarely from the ground and 20lbs occasionally
- Ability to work in warm/hot environment
- Excellent attendance record and team focus
- Quality focused
- Ability to work overtime as needed on Saturdays
