Schedule: 

• Monday - Friday (Day's may vary) 
• 6 p.m. - 2:30 a.m. 
• Flexibility needed - Weekend's as needed 

General Responsibilities :  

The Critical Environment Technician is responsible for keeping assigned cleanroom areas in a clean and orderly condition and free of visible contamination. The ideal candidate will be flexible, responsible, highly motivated, and able to multi-task.  

Work Environment:  

Clean rooms, controlled environments and technical rooms that typically have positive pressure, are HEPA filtered, adhere to a clean working environment, and have specific ways to enter and exit the assigned work area.  Gowns must be worn for the protection of the rooms and products. Temperatures are cooler than a normal office building with controlled humidity

Specific Duties / Essential Functions:  

This is a traveling position, and employees must be willing to travel 2-3 weeks at a time. We will typically provide notice of travel between 2-4 weeks in advance.

• Works in controlled environments where strict rules and procedures must be followed to prevent contamination. 
• Wear specific cleanroom garments while working for safety purposes. 
• Follows and executes client’s cleanroom SOPs and documentation.

• Performs proper cleaning methods such as vacuuming, emptying trash, cleaning all work surfaces/equipment, mopping of walls, ceilings, and floors within a structured time frame.
• Willingness to learn new concepts to understand cleanroom techniques and demonstrate proper cleanroom behavior fully always. 
• Perform End of Shift Inspections (EOS) following company guidelines, ensuring cleanliness and safety standards are met at the end of each shift. 

Skills & Experience:  

• Cleanroom experience is preferred but not required.
• High school or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• Open availability: Overtime work and schedule adjustments may be needed/necessary. Holiday work may also be required. 

Physical Requirements:  

• Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching.
• Must be able to lift 35 lb, carry 12 lbs backpack vacuum as needed.

Compliance Requirements:  

• Must be 18 years of age. 
• Must provide proof of U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency.
• Must provide proof of work authorization and complete an I-9 and E-Verify process 
• Must complete pre-employment background check. (if applicable)
• Must complete pre-employment drug screen. (if applicable)
