Federal Benefits Specialist – On-Site | Phoenix, AZ 85012 Local Candidates Only: Must specify current location on resume Pay Rate: Starts at $21/Hr. + Excellent SoAZ benefits M–F, 8–5 On-Site (No remote) Duties/Responsibilities Monitor and actively manage a caseload (up to 300 cases) of dependent DCS youth receiving federal Social Security, Veterans, or Railroad retirement benefits Ensure full compliance with Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S. 8-468) and all federal benefit program guidelines Track and process benefits for approximately 900 youth currently receiving federal benefits Complete all required documentation and maintain accurate records Collaborate with team members for seamless case management May transition to hybrid schedule after initial onsite period Required Qualifications Strong document management skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Exceptional attention to detail Local residency in Phoenix, AZ (specify on resume) Preferred Experience/Certifications Prior experience managing a caseload Experience in health and human services Important: Candidates are required to read Arizona Revised Statute (A.R.S. 8-468) prior to applying.
