Senior Transportation Project Manager

Responsibilities Lead project teams to accomplish task assignments related to highway projects Project roles include planning development; urban and rural roadway design; freeway and interchange design; rights of way coordination and management; and public safety, all with a focus on quality Full client engagement and responsibility for all aspects of project pursuit and development Ability to lead and manage all phases of a project Develop opportunity leads, project teams, and coordinate with the Mobility Client Development team to capture strategic projects Develop project scopes and budgets, interfacing with and maintenance of clients, and development of project plans and schedules Assist as needed on other projects assigned and work with other Arcadis offices as needed Interpersonal and client facing responsibilities will include excellent, clear, and concise, oral and written communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to coordinate meetings, resources, and presentations Contribute to strategic planning, development, and growth of the Texas Transportation Operations’ team Adhere to Arcadis' practices including quality and safety standards Requirements Texas PE license 15+ years of progressive highway (TxDOT or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field Experience working in and leading large multi-disciplinary teams Progressive highway (TxDOT or local municipality) design experience, including PM experience on roadway design projects Active participation in regional and/or national professional associations Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in leading highway project teams, managing project scopes and budgets, and ensuring quality and safety standards.
