Senior Auditor -Public Accounting

Location: Scottsdale, AZ | Schedule: Full-time, on-site Overview A growing CPA firm with multiple Arizona locations is seeking a Senior Auditor to join its team. This role is central to delivering high-quality audit, review, and compilation services while building strong client relationships and mentoring junior staff. What you'll do Build relationships with clients by gathering information, resolving problems, and providing recommendations for process improvements Lead client audit, review, and compilation engagements, including planning, executing, directing, and completing financial audits Demonstrate knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statement presentation Supervise, train, and mentor associates on the audit process Research and analyze financial statements and audit-related issues Acquire a working knowledge of clients' businesses Perform other accounting services as assigned Required qualifications BS degree in Accounting 3-6 years of audit experience in public accounting CPA or CPA candidate Dedication to superior client service Highly motivated self-starter with ability to multitask and complete assignments within deadline constraints Professionalism, dependability, integrity, and trustworthiness, combined with a cooperative attitude Excellent project management, analytical, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills Ability to thrive in a dynamic team environment Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Preferred qualifications Masters in Accounting a plus Why this role This is an opportunity to lead audit engagements and mentor staff at a growing public accounting firm, with room to build client relationships and develop professional expertise. #J-18808-Ljbffr
