Job Title: Registered DietitianMinnesota Women's Care is a private, patient-focused practice dedicated to providing personalized, state-of-the-art medical care for women of all ages in a welcoming, supportive environment. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our robust, integrative clinical team.Our Registered Dietitian will work closely with our functional medicine providers to deliver individualized nutrition counseling and lifestyle support for patients seeking weight loss, improved fitness and body composition, metabolic optimization, gut healing, and overall wellness. This role is highly collaborative and includes both direct patient care and coordination with other providers within the practice.Ideal candidates will have experience or strong interest in functional medicine nutrition approaches, elimination diets, and behavior-change coaching. Health coaching skills and a patient-centered communication style are highly valued.Key Clinical ResponsibilitiesDevelop personalized nutrition plans tailored to patient goals including:Weight loss and body compositionFitness and performance goalsMacronutrient optimizationMetabolic health improvementBlood sugar regulationGut health and inflammation reductionGuide patients through functional medicine dietary protocols including:IFM (Institute for Functional Medicine) food plansElimination diets and reintroduction protocolsAnti-inflammatory nutrition approachesTherapeutic nutrition interventionsProvide ongoing accountability, education, motivation, and behavior-change supportCollaborate closely with functional medicine providers regarding patient care plans, lab findings, supplements, and treatment strategiesReceive and manage internal referrals from providers for patients interested in weight loss, health optimization, and lifestyle interventionEducate patients on sustainable lifestyle habits including meal planning, grocery shopping, mindful eating, and healthy routinesPartners with patients to develop individualized, evidence-based care plans that respect patient preferences, cultural backgrounds, and personal health goals while promoting optimal health outcomes.Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary and integrative care team—including internal and external specialists, nurses, therapists, and community resources—to ensure comprehensive, well-coordinated patient care.Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently within the EMR.
