Maintenance Senior Lead

The Maintenance Senior Lead will work closely with technical and operations leadership to strengthen preventive maintenance programs, reduce downtime, improve equipment reliability, and support continuous improvement initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and support the preventive maintenance program, ensuring scheduled tasks are completed accurately, safely, and on time.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for complex mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, utility, and facility-related issues.
- Oversee daily maintenance technician assignments, provide coaching and training, and support strong team performance.
- Review, prioritize, and document work orders using maintenance systems while aligning activities with operational priorities.
- Recommend improvements to enhance equipment reliability, reduce downtime, improve safety, and optimize maintenance resources.
- Coordinate vendors and contractors, support equipment installations and upgrades, and assist with KPIs, audits, and root-cause analysis.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 to 7 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience leading or supervising technical maintenance personnel.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, utility, and facility systems.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, equipment manuals, and engineering documentation.
- Proficiency with preventive maintenance methodologies and CMMS systems.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Bilingual communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull materials within company guidelines.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with noise, moving equipment, and standard industrial conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience using SAP in a maintenance, operations, or manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement tools.
- Familiarity with FMEA, SPC, root-cause analysis, and engineering analysis methods.
- Experience supporting audits, departmental KPIs, equipment validation, and corporate engineering projects.
