Mechanical Design Engineer - Contract to Hire We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer in the area of 29301. This company is known for its innovative approach to engineering solutions, ensuring high-quality designs that meet customer needs while minimizing manufacturing costs. Pay Rate/Salary of the Mechanical Design Engineer $40-$45/hr, $80-$85K upon conversion. Responsibilities of the Mechanical Design Engineer Create and develop 3D models and drawings using SolidWorks (2021). Collaborate with sales and manufacturing teams to ensure designs meet customer specifications. Evaluate products according to quality standards and specifications. Provide engineering support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues. Work with suppliers and customers to determine product specifications. Qualifications of the Mechanical Design Engineer 2+ years of experience in mechanical design/manufacture. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred; Associates in related fields acceptable. Proficient in SolidWorks, particularly in the Weldments tab/function.
