Financial Analyst I

Alluvionic is offering an exceptional opportunity for a Financial Analyst I at The US Marshals Service. In this role, you will assist in various financial analysis tasks and contribute to the success of USMS in support of the Financial Services Division (FSD). Key Requirements Must be a U.S. Citizen Clearance Required : Obtain a Public Trust Location : Austin, TX 78701 Onsite Position : The role is in-person. Responsibilities Processes financial documents and transactions from designated Districts using the Unified Financial Management System (UFMS). Reviews accounting practices to ensure compliance with other Federal laws and regulations (e.g., Single Audit Act), generally accepted Government accounting practices, and relevant Office Management and Budget circulars. Identifies corrective actions for improper or illegal expenditures and accounting funds. Reviews and analyzes annual financial statements to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, program policies, and procedures. Demonstrates proficiency in spreadsheet and word processing software and general knowledge of financial statements. Qualifications Four-year undergraduate degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting. Superior attention to detail. Minimum 1 year of working experience in AP/AR Finance role. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with superior Excel skills (V-look up, Pivot Tables, etc.). Excellent interpersonal skills.
