Foreman – Rigging, Machinery Moving, Plant Relocation Description Summary: Guy M. Turner, Inc. is looking for a working foreman to lead a rigging and machinery-moving crew. You’ll be on job sites every day—running the crew, loading, lifting, moving, and setting heavy equipment. Our work is primarily in the local and regional area — not the type of long-term, out-of-state travel done by large contractors. You’ll travel to different customer sites as needed, mostly doing day-work, but return home most nights. Responsibilities: Lead a crew on machinery-moving, rigging, and installation jobs Work hands-on with forklifts, cranes, skates, jacks, and rigging gear Plan lifts, give direction, and make sure work is done safely Load, move, set, and align machines and equipment Read and follow lift plans, drawings, and layouts Fill out basic job paperwork and talk with customers as needed Travel to different job sites when required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:
- 3 years rigging, machinery moving, or machinery installation experience
- years leading a crew or working as a foreman
